Appelpop is a free festival on the Waalkade in Tiel. Since 1992, the festival has grown into the largest music festival of its kind with international fame. Every second weekend in September it is the end of the festival season for many visitors. The 33nd free edition will take place on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 2026.

Appelpop is characterized by its broad programming of bands from the top of the Dutch music industry, quality from the pop venue circuit and regional talent. In addition to music on the stages and a festival market, there are also various other activities to do.

Appelpop is looking for you!

The Appelpop organization consists entirely of volunteers. The board, the working groups, the construction crew and the festival volunteer; Everyone helps on a voluntary basis and that makes Appelpop so unique!
